Young folks we need you!!  to help us create a series of short performances to accompany the reading of poems by Micheal Morpurgo inspired by The Carnival of The Animals suite by Camille Saint-Saëns.

Throughout this one day workshop we will work together to create actions and costumes inspired by the music and poems, you will then perform together alongside Sennet Brass at the festival on Saturday 18th April.

The workshop will be delivered by Sarah Hamilton Baker, Ben Sadler and Jenny Moore and will take place at How Brave Is The Wren bookshop.

The event on Saturday 18th April will be ticketed. Participants do not need to purchase tickets but parents and other children attending will need to purchase tickets for that event.

This event is part of The Heath Bookshop Literature & Music Festival and is supported by National Lottery Grants Funding through Arts Council England.

Tickets for this workshop and all events will be released in January 2026.
