Refund and Returns Policy
Overview
1. In-Shop Returns
Books & Non-Book Items
- Items may be returned within 28 days of purchase with a valid receipt.
- Products must be in new, resalable condition (unused, undamaged, unmarked).
- Refunds will be issued to the original payment method.
- Without a receipt, we can offer an exchange or shop credit at the item’s current selling price.
Faulty or Damaged Items
- If an item is faulty or damaged, please return it as soon as possible.
- We will offer a replacement, refund, or shop credit if deemed necessary.
2. Shipped Orders / Online Purchases
Returns
- You may return items within 28 days of delivery.
- Items must be unused and in original condition.
- To start a return, please contact us at hello@theheathbookshop.co.ukwith your order number.
Refunds for Shipped Items
- Refunds are processed once the item has been received and inspected.
- The refund will be issued to the original payment method.
- Return postage costs:
- If the item is unwanted, customers are responsible for return postage.
- If the item arrived damaged, incorrect, or faulty, we will cover return postage.
3. Event Tickets
General Policy
- Tickets are refundable up to 48 hours before the event.
- If an event is cancelled, customers will receive a full refund to the original payment method.
- If an event is rescheduled, tickets will remain valid for the new date. If you cannot attend, you may request a refund.
Transfers
- If you can no longer attend, tickets may be transferred to another person. Please contact us so we can update our attendee list.
4. Vouchers
- The Heath Bookshop vouchers are non-refundable and cannot be redeemed for cash.
- Lost or stolen vouchers cannot be replaced.
